App versus browser: which is right for you

The ometoto app and browser version offer the same games, markets, and account features. The app stores game rules and odds locally, so you can browse markets even without internet—your bets sync once you reconnect. The app also loads faster on slower connections because it caches frequently used assets. The browser version works on any device without installation and updates automatically. Troubleshooting installation issues

If the APK download fails, check that your device has at least 50 MB of free storage and a stable internet connection. If you see a security warning about unknown sources, this is normal for APK files—go to Settings, Security, and enable Unknown Sources temporarily. Some devices block APK installation by default; if this happens, try downloading again or use the browser version instead. If the app crashes after installation, restart your phone and clear the app cache through Settings. For iOS, if the web app does not save to your home screen, try a different browser or restart Safari. Our support team can guide you through any of these steps in English or Bahasa Indonesia.

Data, permissions, and account security

The ometoto app requests permission to access your device storage (for offline caching), location (to verify you are in a supported jurisdiction), and notifications (for bonus alerts and fixture updates). We do not sell or share these permissions with third parties. Your account data—balance, betting history, payment methods—is encrypted in transit and at rest. We verify your identity once during registration and do not ask for passwords or sensitive information via push notification or email. If you receive a message claiming to be from ometoto asking for your password, it is a phishing attempt; report it to our support team immediately.
